Sviluppate in collaborazione con Robinson e l’atelier storico Okamoto Shoten, queste pochette Kurume “kasuri” rendono omaggio a una delle tradizioni tessili più emblematiche del Giappone.
A differenza dei tessuti comuni, il kasuri non viene stampato dopo la tessitura. Ogni filo è tinto singolarmente in anticipo — un processo meticoloso e tradizionale che richiede abilità e precisione eccezionali.
Durante la tessitura, questi fili tinti in precedenza formano motivi con bordi morbidi e naturalmente sfumati. Questo effetto “kasuri” distintivo conferisce a ogni pochette un aspetto poetico, quasi dipinto a mano. Ogni motivo incarna pazienza, artigianalità e un patrimonio raffinato in oltre due secoli.
