The Peanuts x Esterbrook collection features our new in-house nib, designed to international #6 specifications and fully interchangeable with Jowo #6 housings. This nib has been tested by trusted nibmeisters to meet Esterbrook’s quality standards for smooth ink flow and reliable performance.
For those curious, please note that the traditional Estie line will continue to use Jowo nibs, offering the same range of sizes and options our customers know and trust.
To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we thought of every detail to highlight the legacy of one of the most iconic comic strips every produced. Taking inspiration from Charlie Brown's classic catchphrase, in-house international #6 nibs are etched with "Good Grief!"
Additionally, this set of metal pens are each designed with their respective character in mind, with details such as the t-shirt nib cloth and character-specific metal clip highlighting the familiar faces of the Peanuts gang.

Peanuts began in 1950 and quickly became one of the most influential comic strips of all time. Charles M. Schulz drew daily for five decades, crafting over 18,000 strips that chronicled the adventures of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and their friends. His storytelling was gentle but sharp, capturing universal themes of hope, humor, and perseverance. With an Esterbrook pen often in hand, Schulz gave the strip its unmistakable look—the clean, expressive strokes that became the hallmark of Peanuts.
