ONCE UPON A DESIGN

• Carefully hand-illustrated details evoke the feeling of a traditional stitching sampler, demonstrating many traditional embroidery techniques such as cross-stitch, back stitch, stem stitch, and french knots, gracefully intertwining on an aida cloth canvas.
• Illustrated to look short stitched, friendly squirrels cook maple butter at a quaint Vermont sugar shack.
• Cross-stitched borders line the design, combining a trusty stem stitch, and gorgeous French knots to make a repeated border inspired by vintage patterns.
• Backstitch along with the embroidery pattern, highlighting the delicate pattern with some brilliant silver threads
• Short-stitched Maple leaves dance along the border, inspired by the maple syrup producing trees of Vermont forests.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT post the cap onto the back of the pen when writing. Our pen has been designed and balanced to write with the cap un-posted. Don't worry, the nut shaped cap will prevent it from rolling away
The threads of the cap are brass so they can damage the finish of the paint if you post the cap
Store pen vertically with the tip pointing upwards when not in use to minimize clogging
The brass is designed to patina and age gracefully over time, and consistent use will ensure the finish stays brilliant. However, you can also use standard brass cleaner to restore the finish.
